The Olympic champion, Fofão, is invited to participate in the 2015 Lecture Circuit Institute Share.
Moments of great emotion and happiness marked the history of the Institute Share. On 29 and 30 May, it has received the unexpected visit of the Olympic champion Brazilian volleyball Fofão - as it is affectionately known around the world - for two special meetings. First, in the Lecture Circuit 2015 when professionals and academics of physical education and sport area, as well as other participants were the UniBrasil in Curitiba / PR, to talk to the setter on the athlete as inspiration for new generations. Then, in the Getting Started Core project to Volleyball in Paraná, Central Core, where Fofão was honored for teachers, students, parents and family. The meetings yielded good times and the fans did not hold the excitement: took the opportunity to take pictures and get autographs.
Even anxious and a little shy, Fofão felt at ease to talk about their profession, experiences in big games and also about her personal life during the first day (29) in the Lecture Circuit 2015 Institute Share - event that has intended to discuss topics such as sports, health, working life and education. Her husband, John Márcio, followed everything closely, always humorous and supporting his wife.
Before Fofão rise to the Lamb auditorium stage Cleve in UniBrasil, the executive manager, Luiz Fernando Nascimento - Nando - talked a bit about the Share Institute and the coordinator of physical education course at the university, the host Such Pastre, gave good -vindas participants. Then the applause took place Fofão account and was received warmly. The musical choir presentation Voices of Angola, a group formed by the visually impaired, further enriched the time and moved the participants.
The meeting of the setter with the circuit of the audience was divided into two stages: initially, Nando had a chat with Fofão, recalling some of the history of the setter and brokered the audience questions. Some invited athletes, who played along with Fofão in the national team volleyball, Ana Maria Fraga Volponi and Kelly, were present and revealed excitedly, some interesting trivia colleague. Daniela Leal, player of several national clubs, participated in the second phase of the meeting, when all were invited to participate in the open aquarium - activity in which participants took turns and went into a smaller circle with five chairs to talk in a more interactive way with Fofão.
Both of the daughter ask, Margely de Souza, led to Gabryela, 12, to find the athlete and, according to her mother, very worth it. Some participants received autographed balls and at the end of the circuit, everyone was free to record the moment next to the Olympic champion. The next day (30), Fofão was the project to the Central Core Initiation Volleyball Nuclei in Parana and, once again, made the joy of many people, especially teachers, students, parents and family. The gym, located in the Secretariat of State for Sport and Tourism, which hosts the minivôlei classes, were all decorated to receive the athletic festival in the category Mini 3 × 3. The joy was general when Fofão arrived, but was even greater when she became involved in event activities with the participants. Many have had the privilege of going into court with Fofão minivôlei for a few matches, and sent very well. We had to lifting class! Of course that was successful.
They were only children and adolescents who were excited, parents and family members who accompanied the trajectory of Fofão were excited about the visit. The Dona Antonia Messiah, 91, Isac Messiah student's grandmother, 13, is one example. Despite her age, she is very active, supportive and a great ally of physical activity. Dona Antonia watched the Rexona games when the team was still in Curitiba and one of his birthday presents, celebrated in May, was to find Fofão. Demonstrations of respect and admiration continued to the end of the event, when students category Super Central Core Volleyball paid some homage and gave gifts to athlete. The Fofão's eyes filled with tears, after all, age 45, retired from volleyball courts in a farewell match held on Sunday (24) at the Gymnasium Lauro Gomes in South / SP São Caetano, with athletes who also marked the history of Brazilian sport. Fofão was bronze medalist in Atlanta (1996) and Sydney (2000) and Olympic champion in Beijing (2008), without citing his victories defending team from Rio de Janeiro.
