Manager of the Institute Share knowledge and Muuvit coordinator in Brazil, Maxwill Braga, works the theme culture of peace with the children.

The first half of this year was busy on Integral Education Unit (UEI) Paulo Freire, in Curitiba / PR. That's because 60 children aged 6 to 12 years, under the guidance of a teacher who works with lively workshop of science and technology, Sonia Domingues took part in the adventure Muuvit. In May, students completed all the activities proposed by the program and, to celebrate, held a closing event on June 3, which also was attended by representatives of the Regional Center of New Neighborhood Education, Integrated Education Units and Curitiba City Hall. The meeting was full of jokes related to important themes of Muuvit - an initiative of the Institute Share in Brazil.

Divided into four groups, students of UEI Paulo Freire passed for four seasons, each with different purposes and forming a circuit of activities. To learn a little about the culture of peace, the kids participated in breathing exercises, stretching and meditation. In another station, students knew more about graffiti and gave art held in the wall of UEI Paulo Freire by former student Claudine Ferge. The young man made a colorful and cheerful work on the Muuvit.

In the other two circuit stages happened games that encourage physical activity. There they were fed with a natural green juice and sandwich with vegetables harvested from the garden of UEI by the children themselves. "It was really cool and they loved the green juice!" Said the knowledge manager of the Institute Share and Muuvit coordinator in Brazil, Maxwill Braga.

"Stretching exercises, movement activities, or any other physical activity motivates not only to play on the site, but it means a change of habits and an improvement in the living conditions of children," Sonia said to the City of Knowledge portal of City Hall Curitiba. The Muuvit was an important stimulus for the student Gustavo de Araujo Nascimento, 11 years, maintaining healthy lifestyle habits: "I am learning to let go of the cellular and television to have a life more willingly," he said in interview given to the vehicle.

The Muuvit is a free online platform, created in Finland, which combines learning with exercise and a healthier life. When exercising, children accumulate points and can travel virtually through cities in South America, learning in a fun and interdisciplinary way: arithmetic, culture, human geography, tourism, health, cooking, languages, nonviolent communication techniques and more . In UEI Paulo Freire, the program was initiated in the first half of 2015 and from the beginning, membership was very positive. Maxwill told that Sonia is very creative and she had several legal initiatives that perfectly embedded in the platform context.

An idea that quite caught the attention of Muuvit coordinator in Brazil was the creation of Diary: every day was once a student bring a stuffed monkey home and write a summary about the adventures they had with him at home. Sonia also took the concept of Muuvit to promote a walk with students to a recycling center in the region, which addressed the sustainability issue. In addition, it mobilized about 40 parents and guardians to take a bike ride with the kids around the block from UEI Paulo Freire.
