On September 9, the executive manager of the Institute Share Luiz Fernando Nascimento - Nando - attended the 5th National Sports Forum, held at the Grand Hyat in São Paulo / SP. The event was organized by the Business Leaders Group (Lide) and addressed the future of the national sport in the coming years. The forum sought to educate business leaders, political and sports in the country about the importance of sport as a processing agent.
The event began with the participation of the Governor of the State of São Paulo, Geraldo Alckmin and Sports Minister George Hilton. The Minister spoke about the new national sport system that will be deployed to coordinate and integrate the responsibility of the sport in Brazil. "The new system will be a network of guidelines and bases in the same mold of education, which will define the role of public and private entities. It is necessary to define the role of each, "said George. Nando believes that a reform of the system is critical to the development of sports in the country. "The structure has to be better crafted. Education today has already defined levels: basic education is the municipality; primary education is the state; and higher education is federal. Mothers are well defined and the sport also needs this clarity, "said Nando.
The Executive Director of the Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Rio 2016, Sidney Levy, spoke about the "Achievement, Innovation and Legacies of the Olympic Games." In his speech, he explained the paths taken to the event, the great effort being made to clean the Guanabara Bay and the structural benefits that Rio will have after the event.
More than 500 people participate in the forum that seeks to encourage greater investment to the national sport.
The last topic discussed in the forum was "The Potential Performance Brazil at the Olympic Games and the ability to mobilize private companies to support the sport." The speaker was Luiza Helena Trajano, that in addition to president of Magazine Luiza's board, is chairman of the Public Olympic Committee (CPO). Nando believes it is crucial that companies understand the importance of sport in training people, and classifies this battle as a "permanent search". "The games take place next year and has a lot athlete without sponsorship. Companies have to be aware that the sport is not only good business, but it is a cause that they can embrace, "he said.
To Nando, in general, the event has taken another step forward in the quest to attract more companies to encourage sport and stressed the importance of LIDE this journey. "The LIDE, movement led by John Doria, has made every day more political power for things to change. Entrepreneurs are teaming up with several athletes with various entities, it strengthens and increasingly increases the bargaining power in the search for more space, "said Nando.
