On 08, the team gave the Share Share Mini Volleyball Course for just over 400 teachers of Municipal Education Network of Rio de Janeiro. The goal was to disseminate the Methodology Share Initiation Volleyball in two workshops with different approaches: technical and values. The course was part of the Training Week for teachers in the municipal of Rio de Janeiro education held at the SulAmérica Convention Center.
In the morning, knowledge manager Fabio Okazaki, presented to about 260 teachers the features and technical aspects of each category and Ana Elisa Caron, project analyst, gave a short summary of the values entered in class, always giving practical examples concepts. And in the afternoon, more than 140 participants had contact with the amounts invested to volleyball, where Okazaki presented the studies conducted by the teaching staff of the Share that defined the specific values of each category (cooperation, responsibility, respect and autonomy, and self-esteem and resilience) and its practical application in the classroom. Then the project analyst Vinicius Petrunko discussed briefly how the methodology works the technical part.
In addition, at the beginning of the two workshops, the executive manager of Share Luiz Fernando Nascimento, presented to the organization, its differentials, mission and projects. Before its introduction, everyone watched a video message specially recorded by coach Rezende - CEO of the Institute Share - welcoming the public school teachers participating in the course and encouraging them to use the principles of the methodology in physical education classes at school.
According to Ana Elisa Caron, this was an important opportunity for teachers to know the methodology and mainly to reflect on their physical education class, or teaching any kind be done in a more attractive way to students. "In the workshop on values, we stress the intentionality of activities. The sport in itself teaches values, but only the teacher can foster the development of these values. " Also according to her, the participants seemed to be interested, asked questions during the presentations and sought the Share team during the break to take some questions.
This course is a departure from the Institute Share the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro - partners in the Network Volleyball project in the city - where the spread Share your methodology to all physical education teachers of municipal schools. It is the second consecutive year that this course is offered in Training Week.
