Teenagers of the Mini 3 × 3 categories were surprised by so many cool activities prepared by its central core teachers on May 31, Saturday. In the mornings, the kids, their parents and guardians were within a range of information on quality of life and had fun with some games and physical exercises. They also participated in workshops organized by the Health Faculty UniBrasil. The event took place on the campus of the State Secretariat of Sports and Tourism, site design classes Initiation Centers to Volleyball in Paraná.
About 240 people were involved in the activities between teachers and project staff, students, families and professionals and scholars of healthcare UniBrasil. The event took place in a dynamic and interactive way with the help of the Super Volleyball students - participants in the project for some time. "We achieved what was initially proposed: to bring those responsible to near the core of an attractive way, showing that we are concerned about their health and their children," said Professor Roger Marchese.
At first it was done heating, composed of the stretching, the crazy gymnastics and walking and happened in the external environment of the gym. During the course of the walk, participants made stops at four major stations to hear the explanations of the Super Volleyball students about the importance of stretching before physical activity, regularity of practice exercises, appropriate clothing and hydration. In support, the students of Super Volleyball carried posters made for themselves. "Everyone was expecting to receive tips," said the teacher Rosana Rocha.
Divided into three groups - blue, yellow and red - the students also participated in a round robin. Two areas of the gymnasium were reserved for volleyball games and, once again, students of Super Volleyball collaborated with colleagues from category Mini 3 × 3 to monitor and provide support in the matches; the third area was for health workshops and challenges, in which many parents and caregivers participated, were reported and had fun enough. In the end, families were invited to play with the kids. "Parents with their children playing in a playful manner, playing on the floor to catch that ball hard and celebrating every point won," remarked Rosana.
In biomedicine workshop was made the discovery of blood types; in the workshop of physical education, anthropometric measurements; in the workshop of nursing, blood pressure measurement and pharmacy workshop questionnaire about quality of life. Physical therapy students showed methods of breathing during physical activity, as the nursing students presented the food pyramid and gave some guidelines for a balanced diet. "The partnership of UniBrasil was great, I believe many came out of there with other thoughts, giving more importance to the practice of regular physical activity," said the Dayane Prado teacher. The most requested workshops for students and their families were the physical and biomedical education.
For parents and guardians were also proposed two challenges: hit the sack and touch a windsock. The anonymous opinions of the participants as the event were positive. "Love it! How good participate, interact with the physical activity that my daughter practice, "one (a) responsible for student (a). Other (a) official said: "I find it very important this kind of incentive, my son is always excited and transmits it to the whole family. Happy birthday!".
"The festival was all good, very fun! What I liked most were the nutrition tips, so I learn to care for and maintain my health, "said student (a) core. Other (a) colleague said: "I loved it! Mainly know my blood type! I also enjoyed making new friends. " Other students (as) said they enjoyed playing with their parents and family, to learn more about health and have fun with their friends.
As a thank you, the coordinators of UniBrasil courses that have carried out health workshops were given cards with honors from the Institute Share. Academic won a kit with backpack, shirt, cap and bottle body of water, beyond the book "Turning sweat into gold" the coach Rezende, CEO of the Institute Share. Parents and guardians also left the event with gifts, design t-shirts, and all students were awarded medals for participation.
