The Sport in Action project takes place in Rio de Janeiro since 2007 and was the first initiative of the Institute Share in Rio de Janeiro. Initially, the classes were intended only to students of the Municipal School St. Thomas Aquinas, located next to the Fort of Leme. However, from last year, the project was to extend the opportunity to other children and adolescents interested in attending school and who live in the neighborhoods of the area.
Since Saturday, March 29, about 10 buses run in the neighborhood of Leme, in the city of Rio de Janeiro / RJ, with an announcement to strengthen the dissemination of the project. The idea of using the busdoor media came up with the need to draw more students from the region to participate in classes offered.
The Sport in Action project in Rio de Janeiro is a partnership of the Institute Share with the Brazilian Army - through the Personnel Studies Center (CEP) - and Sextant publisher. Paraná is also the headquarters of this project and hosts other socioesportivo core, with volleyball and capoeira lessons.
