Reading and sport become allies in commemoration activity the National Book Day, the Center Guaratuba / PR

Rezende phrase is highlighted in a wide range produced by the students of Initiation Centers project to Volleyball in Paraná.

The reading as a habit of life, it is very important to stimulate thinking, interpretation, learning, vocabulary acquisition and resourcefulness in speech. More than that, often reading leads people to know a different world, magical and inspiring new ideas. With this in mind, the physical education teacher of the Center Guaratuba, Cassia Graciotto, decided to hold a different activity with their students Initiation Centers project to Volleyball in Paraná. She took the National Book Day, celebrated on 29 October to launch a challenge to the kids.

Students of all minivôlei classes of the core, the Mini 3 × 3 categories, Mini 4 × 4 and Volleyball were encouraged to perform interpretations of the phrase "In the end, it's people that make the difference," the book Turning sweat into gold, the coach of the Brazilian men's volleyball and CEO of the Institute Share, Bernardo Rezende. The activity was requested over a minivôlei festival promoted on 27 September (learn more here) and the award ceremony took place on 28 October. "I took the time to not only stimulate the curiosity and the pleasure of reading, seek to present a little history of Rezende and promote healthy competition in the book written by him," said the teacher.

Cassia was happy with the work done by students. According to her, many pointed out, through texts and phrases, the importance of dedication to improve in different areas of life, such as at school, in sports and profession. Some students reinforce values ​​such as discipline, willpower and motivation to overcome difficulties, in addition to teamwork, effort, respect and responsibility. Others have even mention some professions as a doctor and teacher, as well as community service. "What caught my attention was that the understanding of 'make a difference' passed learn teamwork, turn and offer a 'helping hand'" said the teacher.

Thalita Muller, 11, of the category Mini 4x4 is the winner of the activity and gains the book "Turning sweat into Gold" Rezende's technical and signed by him.

Children and adolescents who participated in the challenge have gained a little star and 100 points in the membership card of the campaign Share Loyalty, which aims to stimulate positive actions in the daily lives of students. These scores are cumulative over the activities and prizes could be worth at the end of the year. Cassia whims and also handed them a bookmark, craft work done by his mother.

The Nubia Martinez students, 11, Thalita Muller, 11, and Deborah Schurtz, 14, the Mini classes 3 × 3 Mini 4 × 4 and Volleyball, respectively, were the winners of the best interpretations of Rezende phrase and won the book Turning sweat into gold. The text Thalita was what stood out and, therefore, she won the book autographed by the coach.
