Professional and physical education researchers expose their views on the theme: "Sport: social or competitive perspective?".
The meeting of theoretical, practical and academic is always very productive because the discussions are with different points of view and everyone learns more. And it was no different on the night of 02 October, when the Institute Share promoted the roundtable "Sport: social or competitive prospects" in the auditorium of Unibrasil in Curitiba / PR. Made up the table doctors teachers Wanderley Marchi Júnior Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and Gilmar Afonso the Federal Technological University of Paraná, the teacher PhD student Tatiana Sviesk Moreira (UFPR) and the pedagogical coordinator of Initiation Centers project to Volleyball in Paraná Share institute, Josmar Coelho. The executive manager of Share Luiz Fernando Nascimento, Nando, mediated the table. About 200 people among professionals and academics in the sports area were present.
Audiences are students of sports.
The speakers shared their views and discussed topics that concluded the main question. Wanderley Marchi started the discussion counting on manifestations and dimensions of sport, he explained the importance of seeking conceptual and interpretive perspectives on the current situation of physical education in Brazil. Then Gilmar Afonso spoke about development of values in sport, Tatiana Sviesk made a provocation on the questioning in competitive sport and Josmar Coelho shared his experience of teaching values throughout the sports lesson, gained from 18 years of experience in the project.
According to Tatiana, the three lectures have achieved the goal. "It is essential to promote this type of discussion because people often separate competition sport social role, posing as if something exclude the other. The projects Share Institute are proof that this is not true. Even with this social perspective, the competition is an assumption, it exists in sports, there can be denied, "said the professional.
Final round table and generates debate is space to answer questions from participants.
The theme appealed the participants and especially the physical education student Unibrasil, Leonardo Lima. "This round table added a lot of knowledge and opened our minds as students and future professionals. We need to relate the two fronts (competitive and social), add value in our classes, they also are responsible for socializing and educating not only teach a sport, "says satisfied.

The roundtable took place in partner of the Institute Share and Unibrasil, via law to encourage the sport: Sports Ministry, the Sports Incentive Law and Unilever.
