Games foster integration and friendship.
The traditional Winter Festival always was a day long awaited by students and teachers of the core White House / SP Volleyball Network project to be a time of great joy and integration among participants. This year it took place on July 12 in the afternoon, and brought together about 60 students from all categories.
The event activities were organized by the volunteer coordinator and former athlete Ana Maria Volponi, alongside Professor Orlando Darling. The opening was attended by the city's sports director, Carlos Casalli and Fernando Luiz Mattar, director of Boav Food, core partner. "We are delighted to be Boav partner in the project, because the sport teaches discipline, respect for differences and responsibility," says Luiz Fernando. "What is this afternoon full of fun and party with lots of games and friendships," students want. Also in the opening, Brazilian Army War Shoot members attended the execution of the National Anthem.

Ana Maria Volponi, leading the project since it was created in 2005, was pleased with the completion of the 8th Winter Festival, especially with the presence of partners and encouragement of parents who were there. "It's very important for parents to encourage children and teenagers to practice sport, because then they can go further and have motivation to continue," he says.
During the festival, it was visible happiness of students and the exchange of experience between them. Divided into six miniquadras, everyone had the opportunity to play several times, increasing motivation and a taste for the sport. "Wow! I'm loving it! I want to play again, "said the eager student João Pedro Mafra, nine years. In the end, everyone received stickers of Sharing, participation and snack medals.

Former students also went there to help with organization, arbitration and distribution of gifts and snacks. "Every time I come to help the festival gives a longing of my time. Remember this gym lotadoe we played nonstop, "says Veronica Paiva, 18 years. "We learned many things here in as a project, for example, take the studies seriously," adds Maria Coelho, 18 years. The two former students met in the project, studied together in high school and are friends to this day. Currently live in another municipality in the state of São Paulo to university.
