The ceremony of the Entrepreneur Friend of Sports Award took place on Tuesday evening, December 9 at Pine Sports Club (SP). The Brazilian yachtsman and Olympic medalist, Torben Grael, accompanied by his daughter, Martine Grael (double Kahena Kunze and elected improvements sailors in the world) presented the event organized by the Sports Ministry. Among the guests were athletes, former athletes and businessmen from various sectors. The executive manager, Luiz Fernando Nascimento - Nando - represented the Share Institute and honored the tributes.
The award is divided into categories and is designed to honor the supporters of sports and parasports projects the Sports Incentive Law, which contributed to the development and strengthening of national sport. "The Incentive Law Sport enables integration because it seeks private funds, via the mechanism of tax breaks, and heads that resources are managed to serve the community. Everything in society part of an idea to live an experience. And the experience of Incentive Act has been successful by the numbers that have surpassed every year and the diversity of projects, "said Minister Aldo Rebelo to Broadcasters Pioneers of Television (EPTV).
Among the winning companies of the fifth edition of the event are Bradesco, which received the award for "Greatest Friend of Sports" (the company that most invested); Itaú who received the "Best Friend of Sports" award (with better distribution of investments by Brazilian regions); and Petrobras, which won third place in the two modalities.
The Institute Share, nonprofit organization led by the coach of the Brazilian men's volleyball, Rezende, also uses the Sports Incentive Law and believes it is an important mechanism to promote the sport. As for the awards ceremony, Nando said: "It is always good to recognize companies and individuals, it is they who today make sport happen in Brazil."
