Representatives of Rems members visit the Reaction Institute, on the second day of the meeting.

The ¹¹ half-yearly meeting of the representatives of members of the Network Sport for Social Change (Rems) was in the days 5:06 June in Rio de Janeiro / RJ with the completion of various activities and integration among participants. The purpose of the meeting was primarily to monitor and add new members to the Participatory Strategic Planning (PEP), which is being developed for the structuring of Rems since the end of last year.

The PEP, conducted by the Couple consulting, divided the members and elected leaders to manage the Great Courses of Action (GLA): Internal and External Communication, Advocacy, Management, Resource Mobilization and Information System. Since then, small groups have been developing actions to fulfill some goals related to the themes. But on the first day of the 11th biannual meeting, other members of the Rems could join these groups to contribute to the work and engage in better planning. For Luiz Fernando Nascimento, executive manager of Share Institute and leader of the GLA management, add more institutions to the groups will be very positive. "This is the real networking: When everyone works for the development of a common goal," he concludes.

Judo demonstration brings together the participants to know some of the work developed by Reaction Institute.

On the second day, representatives of about 30 members of Rems entities, were the place of the Reaction Institute activities to attend a judo presentation and thus know the work of the entity. The Bola pra Frente Institute conducted a dynamic on preventing the use of alcohol and Urece Sports and Culture made a short demonstration of the activities that develop with visually impaired people of all ages, leading participants to the gym, blindfolded, to play goalball. The purpose of these dynamics is to make everyone aware of the activities developed by the Rems member entities. Luiz Fernando Nascimento reveals that "it was great to be in reaction and know the work of other members of Rems." There had the opportunity to attend two presentations, both chosen by members of the Rems who wanted to know more about the issues. The first, called "World Sport Systems", was given by Paula Korsakas, representative of the Human Development Program at Sport - Prodhe -and William Oliveira spoke on "The seven filters Designed to Move", Nike's campaign against children's physical inactivity. The Delirium Tropical Restaurant - institutional partner of the Institute Share - gave breakfast on the first day and snacks on both days of the meeting.
