An auditorium crowded, parents and guardians know the rules of student participation in the project.
Every year at the beginning of the activities, the Central Unit held a meeting with parents and guardians by students to present teachers and coordinators, the programmed actions and explain the operation of the project Nuclei Initiation Volleyball in Paraná. This year, about 300 parents, divided into two different times were present on Saturday morning, April 13.
Led by coordinators, Josmar Coelho and Vinicius Petrunko, the meeting discussed the main features of the project, the rules for participation and in the end, tees class the students were distributed. The first time were parents and guardians of students who entered the project in 2013 and in the second, only those who have had two or more years of participation. For Saul Blan, father of the student category Mini 3 × 3, Luke Blan, 11, even though it has begun to participate in class this year, he has already seen changes in the child. "He was shy, but from the moment he began the classes, is now more autonomous and here he has received an adequate incentive to participate in social life," he says.
The pedagogical coordinator, Josmar Coelho, takes the opportunity to warn parents about the consequences of childhood physical inactivity.
Taking advantage of the meeting with parents, Josmar presented the results of a survey conducted by Nike on the consequences of physical inactivity in childhood. Among negative results, which has shocked those present was the fact that for the first time, the new generation of children will live five years less than their parents. The goal, Josmar, was to alert the importance of parents stimulate students to attend classes and also so that they themselves begin to practice physical activity. "With Lucas's entry into the project, there was a change in habits at home. My wife and I also started practicing physical activity and take care of food. Not only does Lucas is gaining with the project, but the whole family, "said Saul Blan.
