Project students during the week of Hygiene, show what they are learning about health care.
With approximately eighty involved, the Network Volleyball project in Natal, held last April 26 Week of Hygiene, where were minitradas lectures on the importance and care of the oral and body care. So there would be the extent of the event learning home, hygiene kits were donated with cream and toothbrush, comb, soap and hand towel.
The student Regina Lycia, the Mini 3 × 3, 10, has enthusiastically how Week of Hygiene brought more understanding and new techniques on how to stay healthy: "I found it interesting the things they talked, tips on brushing and handwashing I did not know. It was very cool".
UNP teach students in a relaxed way the oral hygiene techniques.
To give the support and the necessary clarification to children, the Network Volleyball project involved teachers and students of health at the University Potiguar (UNP), partner of the core, which showed the students how to brush your teeth properly, and which care should be taken with personal hygiene. Beyond all explanation, trainees consolidate a climate of greater integration among students, coordinators and parents. A good example of this is the sense of accomplishment shown by Roberta de Souza Freire, speaker, which states that in addition to the knowledge gained by applying theory to practice, the great learning was overcoming challenges in dealing with reality. "I can say it all worth it," concludes the nursing student.
Aimed at the health of students, and as a result better student and staff performance, instructional lectures brought by the trainees are of utmost social importance, according to the supervising teacher of the UNP trainees, Carlos Vinicius Gomes.
Mothers and grandmothers met together to give a lecture given to their children.
Although done only for the afternoon classes, the event was a success and it is awaited expectantly in an upcoming issue. It is the claim that mothers and grandmothers of students who believe in the power of changing habits, combined with the quality of life, bringing a greater awareness when it comes to hygiene. To end the day, goodies like lollipops and popcorn were also distributed together with the kits to everyone who attended the event.
