The year-end festival Penha Core - Rio / RJ project Volleyball Network this year was somewhat different. About 70 students from the core had the opportunity to play in quartets and trios, with children's Volleyball Greip, a project that brings together children and adolescents so they can learn various sports, including volleyball. The goal was to get them to acquire experience and to exchange knowledge about volleyball, and of course to put into practice the values learned in class.
The event took place on November 30, at the Municipal School President Eurico Dutra, where classes are held. Students took turns in three blocks mounted, two category Mini 4 × 4:01 Mini 3 × 3 using the method in which whoever lost out of the court, was riding a new team and playing again with another team in another court. "I'm happy to have improved a lot and played well," says the student category Mini 4 × 4, Lucas Nascimento, 13 years.
In addition to the games, students participated in various draws, and the gifts were an autographed ball by Rezende, coach of the men's team volleyball and CEO of Share, a few shirts of women's volleyball team Unilever, several bottles and caps of the project . The festival ended with a snack served by the students themselves. The teacher core, Marcel Maciel, who conceived the event, was pleased with the return of students and showed up excited to do more festivals throughout the year for children and adolescents core. "I observed the attitudes and values of students and was very pleased," concludes the professor.
