Campinas / SP played host to various cultural attractions to celebrate the anniversary of 239 years of the city, celebrated on July 14. On June 12, 600 students from ten public schools in the region made presentations on Culture Station. The event was held by the Education Department, with the participation of the More Education Program and was attended by the Mayor Jonas Donizetti and municipal secretary Solange Pelicer education. During the party, banners were exposed of educational institutions and the coordinator of the Nuclei Campinas / SP project Volleyball Network, Sandra Morello, used the occasion to publicize the work of the Institute Share.

The Network Volleyball design is present in five public schools in the city and offers volleyball classes with educational values ​​(cooperation, responsibility, respect and autonomy) to about 450 children and adolescents in the region. The banners of the institution were placed beside the promotional material of the program More Education, where Sandra also makes coordination, an initiative coordinated by the Department of Continuing Education, Literacy and Diversity (Secad / MEC), in partnership with the Department of Basic Education (SEB / MEC) and the State and Municipal Education Departments. The program aims to promote activities to improve the school environment, with activities involving educational support, art, music and more.

In addition to hip-hop performances, ballet, recorder, fanfare, drums, capoeira wheel and dance, on 14 July, the mayor, accompanied by his wife, Sandra Ciocci, and along the secretaries, councilors and journalists used a double-decker buses in London style for a stroll through the historic sights of the central region. In the Square Carlos Gomes happened Chefs event in the Square, where they were served special dishes at affordable prices of 16 restaurants in town. The end of the celebration was to show performed by the Symphony Orchestra of Campinas and the double Chitãozinho and Xororó, which brought together 10,000 people in the Square Heralds of Peace.
