Various entities of the municipality of Protasio Alves / RS celebrated on 15 September, the Gaucho Day - officially celebrated on the 20th of this month - bringing together approximately 400 people. The celebration, held on Sunday, also had lunch and tie tournament. According to Professor Elizangela Stella, this day was very positive because it helped cultivate the traditions of the region and to awaken the spirit of the gaucho culture.
