Teachers of the Municipal Campinas / SP guide students the Network Volleyball project for activities in the sand.
On 26 and 28 May, the setting for class of children and adolescents of the nuclei St. Mark and St. Dominic - Campinas / SP was another. Instead of practicing volleyball on the courts of project headquarters Schools Network in Volleyball, students were to Taquaral Park and exercised the sport in the sand. Some had more difficulties than others, but everyone could have fun and learn more from the experience. This time, those responsible for the activity were the teachers of the Municipal Sports Bureau.
The tour of the kids of St. Dominic Center to the park, on the 28th, coincided with the Day Challenge, sponsored by SESC in the same place. The initiative aims to mobilize the largest possible number of people to practice physical activities, through competition between cities. The Challenge Day has become, since 2013, one of the actions of the campaign MOVE Brazil. So, which lets kids were divided into two groups: while one participated in the Beach Volleyball another was involved in Challenge Day activities, like jumping rope, playing basketball and skateboarding.
The students of St. Dominic Center were excited about the experience, especially with the Beach Volleyball. "I'll still be volleyball player and play on the beach!" Said Julia Martins student, 12 years, the category Mini 3 × 3. The colleague Everton Couto, 13, of the category Volleyball, found difficulty in sport: "It is very difficult to play in the sand. We get caught in it, "he said. Already Estela Ramos, 12, the Mini 4 × 4 category, praised the work of the professionals of the Municipal Sports Bureau, "teachers gave greater force to us! Even when I made mistakes, they did not give earful, "he said satisfied.
