Minivôlei teams play matches during Easter Festival.
The staff of the Center Higienópolis anticipated the celebration of Easter and took the time to perform the first minivôlei festival of the year. For new students design Volleyball Network was a unique experience and to the more veteran colleagues a fun event to practice what they have learned over time. The Easter Festival took place at the Municipal School Alcide de Gasperi in Rio de Janeiro, home to the core, and brought together around 90 children and adolescents divided into morning and afternoon shifts on 15 April, Tuesday.
The event began with a welcome from the Deputy Director, Monica Teixeira. She took the opportunity to say that for the fifth consecutive year, is honored by the school to be part of one of the cores of the Institute Share in Rio de Janeiro. "The project continues to add more and more to our school, brightening and promoting leisure and citizenship", said the director. Then the teacher of the Center Higienópolis, Rosane Muricy, stressed that the festival is an ideal time for students to exercise the values taught in classes, such as responsibility, respect and autonomy.

The games began with the children and adolescents of categories Mini 3 × 3 and 4 × 4 Mini in separate courts. Students choose their own teams and turns the responsibility of refereeing the matches. "I loved this day! The festival was the best thing so far. It's the first time I participate and I'm dying to have that sometimes, "said the student Bruno Moraes, 12, of the category Mini 3 × 3. In an atmosphere of joy, the morning of the festival ended with a lunch.
In the afternoon, Rosane explained to the students category Volleyball on the importance of being together and experiencing the values through the games. "Learning how to win with humility and lose with dignity was the motto," said the teacher. The matches took place in the same format of the games of the categories Mini 3 × 3 and 4 × 4 Mini. The student Ester Silva, 14, of the Volleyball category, was pleased with the event and its ease on the court, "it was the first time I participated in the festival playing this category and it was fun. I managed to overcome me. I won some matches and took lose in others. It was wonderful! "He said. Finally, teenagers practiced cooperation and assisted in the custody of the materials used at the event. In both periods, participants received medals, adhesives and Easter gifts.
