Since 2010, the Institute Share is part of the Sport for Social Change Network (REMS), an organization founded in 2007 by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Nike in Brazil, and whose mission is to mobilize and strengthen groups and social movements recognize sport as a social development promoter.
The novelty is that in the midst of one of the traditional semi-annual meetings of the network, composed of social organizations working with sport, board and executive secretariat chose the Institute Share As one of the newest members of the Board of Representatives. "They are entities with enough experience, interacting, bringing experiences based solutions that enrich our perspective and effectively reflect in our work," summarizes the executive manager of Share Luiz Fernando Nascimento.
The meeting held on 30 and 31 May, at SESC Consolação in Sao Paulo was the scene of discussions on the strategic network planning, research Incentive Law, accountability and change of directors. In addition to the Share, the Rumo Náutico Institute, and Institute MH2O 'Magic integrate new phase in the next two years, along with the Sport Institute Education Institute Joaquim Cruz, they Fund and Reaction Institute, already part of the old board.
With a mission to human development through sport, and due to the dedication, regular participation in meetings and especially for believing in REMS, and wealth sharing information and experiences, the Institute Share is honored to join the board.
"This latest meeting held in São Paulo, and of course to bring much joy to us of the Institute share that went to the Council of Representatives of the REMS, took very productively, with an objective dynamics that gave rise to participation by all" concludes Luiz Fernando on the two-day meeting.
