The expectation of students in Leme Fort Core to participate in the summer camp is always very large. Every year children and teenagers Sport in Action project pending the selection of students who can participate in activities. For this opportunity come to them, Invepar Institute with MetrôRio, project partner in Rio de Janeiro until 2011 and Jose Candeias, furniture supplier of the Brazilian Army Staff Studies Center, fund some vacancies.

In 2012, 29 students (20 funded by the Invepar Institute with MetrôRio-nine by José Candeias) were selected to participate in the colony which took place between 16th to January 28th on the premises of Personnel Study Center, the core activities of site . First, the students received an invitation that quantified the number of interested students and the selection criteria were ranked by frequency in the project during the year, behavior and participation in events.
The wide range of activities undertaken attracts a diverse audience - 4-14 years and persons with disabilities. Different sports, swim, environmental and nutrition education, arts, recycling, dance and civic activity - such as singing the national anthem when the flag-raising - are developed in a playful manner and based on educational concepts. Guided by qualified professionals, duly registered in the class councils and aided by university students as activity monitors.
For core teachers who worked in the colony, hired by the organization, this was an important time for evaluation of student behavior project in a different environment. "The behavior exhibited by students of the project during the activities of the colony reflected throughout the work values developed in the core," says the project coordinator in Action Sports, Karina Lins e Silva.
"The satisfaction in participating in the summer camp was clearly seen in the joy of children's Sport in Action. Always smiling and socializing with other children in activities. I know you like very much to be part of this joke, "says the teacher volleyball, Laura Brazil.

For Viviane Barros, Social Responsibility Analyst Metro Rio, the summer camp encourages changes in the lives of each and that's why the Metro Rio finances the participation of some of them.
