The team of the Institute Share gained another member. Maxwill Braga, or Max, as it is called by colleagues, holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Brasilia and a Masters in Education and Globalisation University of Oulu in Finland. After going through positive experiences during his professional career, especially in the area of educational, Max begins a new story as knowledge manager of the Institute Share. The prospects are exciting for him and the new member is already engaged in the institution's projects.
Max is characterized by the search for new challenges. Even before attending college, he held an exchange in the United States and beyond to improve their English, might know more about the country's culture. During graduation, he apprenticed in Educational Themes Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE) and the Department of Trade and Services of the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC). In his master, he remained two years in Finland and vacations had the opportunity to intern at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Brasilia.
Before entering the Institute Share, in June this year, Max also worked on two nonprofit organizations: the Institute Evaluate Belo Horizonte / MG and Partner Brazil - Collaborative Processes Center - in Rio de Janeiro / RJ. In the latter institution participated in the program "Education for Peace" that aims at resolving conflicts in public elementary schools of the state capital. Among others, Max taught about managing emotions, types of conflicts and nonviolent communication.
The first contact Max to work with students of the Institute Share was in Volleyball Network project, in Rio Nuclei / RJ. He was delighted with the Methodology Share Initiation Volleyball and highlighted the teaching of values. "I thought fantastic! The network is little one, teachers are sensational, everything is organized and the excellent material, "he noted. "Students do not fight, are respected and have the autonomy to organize the courts to class. I've never seen this methodology. I thought it works great! "He said.
In Curitiba, Max visited the Central Core Project Initiation Centers to Volleyball in Paraná and even played some volleyball matches with children and adolescents. The weather was of joy and relaxation. Curitiba is also home to the administrative office of the Share where Max will spend most of your time.
The knowledge manager is involved in new projects, meeting the demands set by the Participatory Strategic Planning held earlier this year. The IC clinics began to be administered by it as well as the production of scientific research on the experiences of the Institute Share with sports. Max also coordinates the implementation of Muuvit platform in Brazil, a partnership of the Institute Share with Muuvit Health and Learning Oy Ltd organization. Which has the support of the Finnish Embassy, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Sports Network Social change (REMS). This project is in its initial phase and aims to encourage elementary school students to acquire a healthy lifestyle.
Max is mining, but is already adapting well to Curitiba. Had the opportunity to stroll in the parks and said to be enjoying the new city, "is clean and people are educated," he said. In his spare time, Max does not leave aside the physical activity and told some of his hobbies. He often cycling, running, playing tennis and, where possible, beach volleyball. Also, do not dispense board games, movies, theater and a good book to read.
