To provide new students the first contact with the pleasurable and fun project, the teacher of Guaratuba Center, Cascia Graciotto, prepared the Welcome Festival which incorporated new and old students. On March 25, the teenagers who participated in the project in 2014 were responsible for guiding the newly enrolled in the first contact with the volleyball. The activity took place in the very State College Mayor Joaquim da Silva Mafra, school seat of Initiation Centers project to Volleyball in Paraná.
Once the kids came to the festival, the teacher explained about the project, its operation and the values worked on a daily school. Integration began there: the freshmen presented and veterans could talk about their experiences in the project. Then, Cassia explained the importance of stretching and heating at the beginning of every physical activity, because they avoid injury and contribute, among other things, increased flexibility and improved posture. Again, the older students were responsible for teaching a series of stretches. The game picks tail tore smiles of all present and heated the kids.
With all world prepared, it's time that everyone else waited: get on the court and have fun with the balls. Trios were mounted mixing always novice and experienced for more learning and accountability. While some teams played, other arbitrated and so the newcomers could understand the dynamics of festivals that will participate during the year. "During the games, the alumni had a responsibility to guide new students in rotation and any other questions / problems. I emphasize here the excellent work of our veterans in guiding new colleagues ", welcomes the Cassia teacher.
