The first Minivôlei Festival held by the Center Santos Dumont moved the Municipal School Professor Mello Teixeira - home to one of the core project Volleyball Network in Lagoa Santa / MG. For the first time, 70 students from Mini 2 categories × 2, 3 × 3 and Mini Mini 4 × 4 took part in a different event, played volleyball together and did very interesting recreational activities. 26 and 27 August were marked by new experiences, excitement and joy. On the 26th, the teacher core, Marcos Vinicius da Silva, has prepared a playful exercise that facilitated the integration and fun among the pupils of categories Mini 3 × 3 and 4 × 4 Mini. They were randomly colored bracelets and formed teams with students with wristbands of the same color, like blue or red. Gradually, Professor blended members and teams were becoming more colorful, causing the participants to exchange experiences and talked among themselves.

On the second day of the festival was the turn of children's Mini 2 × 2 have fun. For this, dynamic activities were carried out involving the technical movements practiced in the sport, like lifting and serve. Then the kids formed pairs to play volleyball. Marcos was pleased with the good participation of students and praised the timeliness of kids. The festival was also an opportunity for them to put into practice the values learned in class, as responsibility and respect. The festival had the support of the analyst of the Institute Share projects, Katia Keller, who traveled from Curitiba to support the event and the teacher of Camp Center (also in Lagoa Santa), Juliana Montebrune.
