On Saturday, April 14, the Institute Share held meetings about the program Right Choice - without Violence sport with 285 participants of the 13th Internúcleos Initiation Centers project to Volleyball in Paraná. Held on the campus of the State Secretariat of Sports in Curitiba / PR, in days 12-14 of this month, the tournament brought together students from 15 design centers around the state.
A total of five meetings, two in the morning and three in the afternoon, where participants were given a guide and platelets, in red, green and yellow, to perform the activity. The project analyst, Ana Elisa Caron and the executive manager of Share Luiz Fernando Nascimento - Nando - presented the program and to make participants interact, conducted related questions so that, in response, the students raise their platelets colorful, agreeing or disagreeing situations involving conflict and violence. Soon after the video was passed from the program, with testimonials from athletes, at a very young language.
The goal was for participants - aged between 11 and 15 years - to reflect on the culture of peace and understand the difference between conflict and violence. A theme emphasized in the meeting was the resolution of conflicts style of each, based on the guide Right Choice - Sport without Violence. Students read it and could understand a little more about each: accommodated, Avoider, aggressive, positive agreement and collaborator.
The student Iana Natalino, 11, the Center Guaratuba / PR, quite liked the activity and found that the way people deal with conflict can avoid violence. "When we enter a conflict we can talk to solve without it becomes violent," he reflects. Already her friend Nubia Symbalista, 12, saw the importance of not judging people and respect differences. "I really enjoyed the video and found it fun. Now I'm going back to my town and apply everything I learned here, "he says.
Other workshops took place simultaneously. The self-esteem, for example, worked the differences between people, raised awareness about one's acceptance of each student in order to explain the respect for others. This was accomplished using the external beauty and clarified that each finds himself in a way different from what others see. "The goal of this workshop was to improve the vision and understand the differences between people, respecting them and understand that the differences are positive," says Professor of Curitiba Center Core, Ronald Klassen who taught the workshop. Besides the theoretical reflection, the students took part in a practical activity on this value.
