Central Core of students and teachers, in Curitiba, dedicated Saturday, May 16, to have fun and also discuss a very important issue: environmental sustainability. In the morning, there was the festival for teens category Mini 4 × 4 and the afternoon for the guys from the Volleyball. The participation of parents and guardians was featured in both events, as well as watch the children of volleyball games, they are actively involved in the activities undertaken.
The mission of encouraging the practice of daily attitudes of respect for the environment yet begun earlier this month, when students of the Mini 4 × 4, 13, had a chat with the management of environmental education Sanepar (Company Parana sanitation), Roselis Augusta Presznhuk. On that occasion, they talked about the importance of water - an issue addressed at the event - and were told to take teachers a water bill of the House of April. The objective was to make them aware of consumption and the goal is to reduce spending until next minivôlei festival, scheduled for the second half. The task involves the participation of the whole family, which is already committed to the cause.

On Saturday morning, Roselis, accompanied by Martim Alece - Unit Environmental Education Service of Sanepar - returned to the initiation of the project Nuclei Volleyball in Paraná to make another speech, this time with the leaders. During the event, they were also made jokes about awareness with giant games for the whole family. "They held an activity to discover how much water they consume each day and were surprised by the result," said Roselis. The student Camila Braga, 13, said convinced: "If each take care of your home and respect the environment we will have a better world." The involvement with the activities was very positive, including the time that everyone (parents and students) met on the courts and divided the functions of refereeing, take care of the scoreboard and play.

Already in the afternoon, the theme was recycling materials and waste separation. As in the Mini 4 × 4, the Volleyball's class also participated in activities in the week before the festival. Divided into sextets, boys and girls trophies crafted from recycled material to be exposed on the festival 16 and participate in a more beautiful trophy competition, voted for by parents, students and teachers. Teams that crafted the top three have won a bottle of the project.
Early in the event, the teachers have prepared a contest that warmed the teens and made them practice the proper sorting of waste. Then left for the games held in the form of championship and the mood was much fun and friendship. Former students of the Central Core and those responsible for the students also not left out in the afternoon: there were referees, assisted in the organization of the vote and received trophies backpack and bottle in thanks. In closing, the teams that were in the top three female and male games were awarded medals.
