Respect is one of the values ​​worked in the 1st square "Your Choice".

Students of special classes Central Core volleyball - Curitiba / PR had a special morning on 05 October - Saturday - with lots of excitement and fun. These teenagers have gone through all categories of minivôlei (Mini 2 × 2, 3 × 3 Mini, Mini 4 × 4 and Volleyball) and now have the opportunity to stay for a year in the Getting Started Core project to Volleyball in Paraná to participate in tournaments. It was in this climate that students come into court with invited teams of Pinhais, the Municipal Bureau of Sport, Recreation and Youth (SMELJ), the Staff Association of the Federal Savings Bank (APCEF) and Duque de Caxias. The 1st Foursquare "Your Choice" took place in the campus gym of the State Secretariat of Sports and gathered more than 100 boys and girls, who were prestigious in the presence of parents and guardians. The alumni of the project were also check out the event and helped in some activities.

At registration it was already possible to realize the responsibility and cooperation of each. To participate in the tournament had to bring a toy for donation to the Christian Association of Social Assistance (Acridas) and Benevolent Association Rosanna Cattalini, in honor of Children's Day. In the opening of the 1st Foursquare, teachers explained how they would run the games and then everyone sang the National Anthem. The alumni hoisted the flag and the student's special volleyball class, Jaqueline Gandolfi, 15, took the oath of the student.

Volleyball games were held in three blocks, coordinated by the trainees, one for girls, one for boys and the third for both genders, who took turns during the event. In the first phase participants had the opportunity to play with all teams present, favoring integration and in the second phase, only the top finishers competed. "The square was very positive, it is very important the participation of other institutions in our events, because we can show our work and adds to the experience of our students! "said Alexandro Martins, Central Core teacher.

The arbitration was conducted by alumni and students of design, which greatly exercised responsibility. Teachers were not out, had a cameo on the court, directing teams, and managed to assess student behavior more closely, especially as regards cooperation, responsibility, autonomy, achievement and respect. Teachers took that were present in emotional situations of the festival and also worked unity, motivation and determination.

During the event, colleagues, teachers, coordinators of courts and arbitrators chosen through voting, the two teenagers that more practiced values ​​in the games, which were then honored. An exercise of citizenship! The goal was to practice what students have learned in class and show the importance of good behavior in court. Students were also told to leave their testimonials on a wall. On it was written the words of the CEO of the Institute Share and coach of the Brazilian men's volleyball, Rezende, "the distance between dream and reality is called discipline."

At the end of the 1st square "Your Choice" have been made thanks to gifts and clarification of all league activities. Then teachers reinforced the importance of teamwork in volleyball and deliver individual awards, team spirit and best player and player. The teams that stood out were awarded medals, delivered by parents, guardians or teachers. The students evaluated the event through a questionnaire and 76 respondents, 73 said they liked the activities. The teacher of the Central Core, Tatiana Ribas, was pleased: "I believe that we comply well with the goals we had in relation to the square, the students loved knowing that there would be an event aimed at them, they felt important within the context". The colleague Alexandro Martins added, "all professionals of the invited institutions liked and asked for a new championship soon."
