After after five years of activity at the Center Forte do Leme - Rio / RJ Sport in Action project starts Impact Assessment and Results. Among the objectives are: to draw a historical overview of the project implementation, recover main quantitative and qualitative results, identify impacts of the project, keeps track behavioral changes in project students from sports and living together in diverse environments: design, school family. This review will be conducted by Cristiana Candal backed by Thereza Lobo who initiated the monitoring and evaluation process in 2007.
In the first stage there will be a desk review and consolidation of data from reports, monitoring and baselines, as well as interviews with the executive manager, Luiz Fernando Nascimento, a project analyst, Ana Elisa Caron Institute and the coordinator Share Project Karina Lins e Silva.
Several focus groups will be held in the second stage based on the perception of those involved (students, teachers, family, school) on behavior change. In one of them will be preferentially selected those students with more time to stay and we intend to do a survey of a group of students of the same age and attended the same school (Municipal School St. Thomas Aquinas) and the same period, but who did not attend the project.
Finally, a research report with the data and conclusions will be drawn. One of the partners that made possible this evaluation was the Dynamo Institute who helped in the implementation of Simac - Monitoring and Evaluation System of Share - started on the tiller Strong Core and today covers the other 36 cores socioesportivo Share program. Another partner, the MetrôRio with Invepar Institute which was core partner in the last four years (2007-2011) and saw the importance of this evaluation, although not current partner. Today MetrôRio with Invepar Institute sponsors the Volleyball Network project also in Rio de Janeiro.
