Professor of the Center Saint Vincent - Campinas / SP, Laertes Rodrigues, had an interesting idea to attract young children to the Network Volleyball design and planned a different activity on 09 August. On this occasion, students category Mini 2 × 2 could lead to class volleyball friends that are not part of the project to participate, know and see the skills of colleagues developed over time. The event, called a Friend Day, brought together 42 young people at the Municipal School Julio Mesquita Filho - based core - a figure considered higher than expected.
The "visitors" were presented to the group and the teacher devoted a few minutes to explain to them how to operate the project classes. To let the relaxed atmosphere, all participants of the event played catch-up in pairs and a game of volleyball activity in 1 × 1 format. Then students joined the project with their friends and played matches three points in the Mini 2 × 2 format. So that everyone could interact and enjoy the time, four blocks were mounted.
The teacher's initiative worked. "The initial objective of demonstrating to friends of the students the school format and awaken their interest was fully achieved," concluded Rodrigues Laerte. In addition, the students of the Network Volleyball design might show colleagues what they learned during classes. "The student participation was effective and full of motivation," said the teacher.
